The Cathedral of Saint James is one of South Bend's oldest churches. The Cathedral is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization, and all contributions are U.S. tax-deductible. Here are ways you can donate and become involved:
GENERAL OFFERING
General donations allow the Cathedral of Saint to fulfill our call to be a witness for God’s love, and to continue our more than 140-year heritage of vibrant and exciting worship, outreach and hospitality. Your contribution, however large or small, helps cover operational expenses and keep our various missions and ministries alive and thriving.
PLEDGE
Making and fulfilling an annual pledge of support is among the most essential commitments members of St. James can make. Pledges allow us to budget wisely as we offer ministries and services to our members and the wider community. Whether you pledge at $1,000 a month or $1 dollar a week, every dollar counts!

SUMMER CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS
Support summer camp scholarships at the Cathedral, for children to participate in the diocesan summer camp for children. Please give as generously as you can. Every dollar helps families of youngsters who cannot afford to pay the tuition. Help children experience a week of new friends, food, fun, and growth in Christ.
Bishop Little cites our summer camp program as the diocese's "most important investment" in the work we are to do—"to pass on the Christian faith to the next generation of believers." It is held each year, usually the second full week of June, at Camp Alexander Mack, a facility which is a ministry of the Indiana Camp Board and affiliated with the Northern Indiana and South Central Districts of the Church of the Brethren.
FRIENDS OF CATHEDRAL MUSIC
 You are invited to support the Music Ministries of the Cathedral by direct financial contribution of any amount. Our long-range goal is to provde a series of Cathedral Concerts open to all free of charge --- with your support we can move closer to this goal. All contributions to the Friends of Cathedral Music are directed exclusively to the presentation of concert events. We thank you for your generous support and look forward to welcoming you our next Cathedral Concert event!
FLOWER FUND
 Fresh flowers on the altars at St. James in praise to God are provided each week through gifts made to the flower ministry. If you would like to sponsor a specific Sunday, either sign-up on the Flower Fund Board in the Narthex or contact the Cathedral Office. The donation is $70 per Sunday.
SANCTUARY LIGHT
Individuals are invited to sponsor the Sanctuary Light that hangs over the tabernacle. The requested donation is $10 per week. You may sign-up on the Sanctuary Light board in the Narthex or by contacting the Cathedral Office.
IN MEMORY / IN HONOR
If you would like to remember someone close to you by making a donation in their memory, we can help you do so. Contact the Cathedral Office for assistance. This is a valuable and positive way to celebrate the life of a loved one while helping St. James Cathedral further its mission.
