Christopher began attending the Cathedral in December 2012. After serving three years on the Cathedral Chapter, Christopher was elected to his first two-year term as Senior Warden in January 2018. He currently serves on the Relationship Building Committee (chair for 2016-2017), Stewardship Committee, Finance Committee, Building Committee, and manages the Cathedral website. Christopher has also been elected four times as the Chapter delegate to Diocesan Convention and to the Special Convention to Elect a Bishop.

Within the Diocese of Northern Indiana, Christopher currently serves on Bishop Doug’s staff as the part-time Missioner for Digital Communications. He is responsible for managing the EDNIN website, creating social media content, and designing the monthly enewsletter. In addition, he assists with events and the overall branding of the Diocese. In 2016, Christopher was elected at Diocesan Convention to serve as a lay deputy to the 79th General Convention of the Episcopal Church, held in Austin, Texas, where he was appointed by the President of the House of Deputies, Gay Clark-Jennings, to serve on the Executive Team as the Secretary of the Credentials Committee. The 2017 Diocesan Convention elected Christopher to serve as a delegate to the Province V Synod. Most recently, at the 2018 Diocesan Convention, Christopher was elected to serve a three-year term as the diocesan representative to the Executive Board of Province V of the Episcopal Church.
