The Dean's List

Let's Try This Again
with the correct date. Sheesh.

Summer Camp Week
Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana Summer Camp takes place this coming week on the shores of Lake Waubee at Camp Mack in Milford, Indiana. Elementary and middle school-aged children from all across our diocese (and beyond!) will explore many aquatic Biblical themes in "H2Oh! The Wonder of Water." As usual, the Cathedral is sending a veritable school of campers and adult staff, including the Dean. Please keep us all in your prayers! The last time we had a water-themed week, the good Lord appointed appropriate weather...

For Your Prayers

☩ In Thanksgiving...

  • In June we celebrate Pride Month. This month and always, we give thanks for the many gifts offered to the Church and to the world by members of the LGBTQ+ Community and we pray that our Church may continually proclaim that all are loved, all are welcome, and all belong.

  • This week we celebrate Juneteenth, commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. It is celebrated on the anniversary of June 19, 1865 when Major General Gordon Granger read the proclamation of freedom for slaves in Galveston, Texas. Juneteenth emphasizes family, community, celebration, and remembering.

  • For Bishop Doug Sparks, in gratitude for his years of leadership and heart for this Diocese; may his upcoming retirement be a season of rest and blessing. We also pray for the Diocese of Northern Indiana, that as we begin the transition to new leadership, we may follow where God’s Spirit leads.
