Your most memorable experience? Four experiences come immediately to mind; getting married to Nicole in the Rocky Mountains in 2006, catching my daughters Garren and Naomi at their births in Nashville, and loosing the tip of my middle finger in a water-tubing accident when I was 17.
What are your hobbies? Playing the banjo, bourbon tasting, and crocheting (in that order).
What was your childhood ambition? I wanted to be President of the United States (but that was before I got arrested for protesting in front of the White House).
What’s your favorite food? My family would say potato chips, but I’m more likely to hurt myself eating Eastern-style North Carolina BBQ with coleslaw.
Your most recent purchase? A 20th century classic, Roland Bainton’s Christian Attitudes Toward War and Peace.
