How long have you attended St. James? Three years

In what ministries do you participate? Member of Chapter, Discernment Subcommittee, Building and Grounds Committee, Adult Forum facilitator

Your most memorable experience? Four experiences come immediately to mind; getting married to Nicole in the Rocky Mountains in 2006, catching my daughters Garren and Naomi at their births in Nashville, and loosing the tip of my middle finger in a water-tubing accident when I was 17.

What are your hobbies? Playing the banjo, bourbon tasting, and crocheting (in that order).

What was your childhood ambition? I wanted to be President of the United States (but that was before I got arrested for protesting in front of the White House).

What’s your favorite food? My family would say potato chips, but I’m more likely to hurt myself eating Eastern-style North Carolina BBQ with coleslaw.

Your most recent purchase? A 20th century classic, Roland Bainton’s Christian Attitudes Toward War and Peace.
