CROP, an acronym for Christian Rural Overseas Program, is a ministry of Church World Service to feed the hungry both locally and in places where the need is great around the world. CROP Hunger Walks have been held in the U.S. since October 1969. Twenty-five percent of all proceeds remain in the hosting community.
We invite you to don your red Saint James t-shirt (or whatever…) on September 30 and take a stroll through downtown South Bend with hundreds of others from our community who are raising money and taking time to tend to those who are hungry. Donations may be made directly to any of our walkers or online by searching for Cathedral of Saint James at crophungerwalk.org/southbendin. So sign up to walk or sign up to give as we follow Jesus’ admonition to feed the hungry.
