The Weekend of the Last Sunday after Pentecost
Christ the King
(Year C, Proper 29, Track Two)
November 23, 2025
The Dean's List
Christ the King
While not an officially recognized feast day across all denominations, the observance of Christ the King Sunday on the Last Sunday after Pentecost is a fitting ending to the story of Jesus we tell every year beginning in Advent. The end—the conclusion and culmination—of all history is the reign of Christ over all things. In other words, the end of all history is the triumph of Love. That is a wonderful hope.
Joe Anand-Obleton
Parish Administrator Joe Anand-Obleton will undergo hip replacement surgery on his other hip this coming Wednesday, November 26. As with his first hip replacement in September, we expect Joe will be out of the office for at least four weeks. May God keep Joe and Michael in his care!
Advent Wreath Making
Advent starts on Sunday, November 30! This Sunday - November 23 - the Through the Years All Generational gathering will make Advent wreaths to help mark and observe this coming season of watching and waiting. Join us in the Conference Room at 9:15 am!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Blessings,
Brian
