Shortcakes on the Blacktop
Shortcakes week is here! Please look at the volunteer opportunities below to see where, when, and how you can be a part of the most delicious outreach project in South Bend.

Happy Father's Day
A blessed and happy Father's Day this Sunday to all fathers and father figures in our lives!

And Erica Vitale.

The Mom Report
My mother had a follow up CT and meeting with her neurosurgeon this past Tuesday. While there is still fluid build-up in her brain, the doctor was satisfied that it is within an expected range and, since her overall condition has improved, he released her to travel - by car - from Minneapolis back home to Delaware. Were it up to her, she would have set out for home from the doctor's office. My older brother and I needed to attend to some logistics, though, including finding a nurse to travel with us (my brother's niece accepted the job), an itinerary for travel, and - of course - getting back to Minneapolis to pick her up. My brother and his niece are flying in and Tamisyn and I are driving our minivan to Minneapolis on Sunday, then all driving back with Mom to South Bend beginning Monday, then on to the Hagerstown, Maryland area on Tuesday, arriving in Seaford, Delaware on Wednesday. Tamisyn and I will then travel back to South Bend on Thursday in order to be present for Shortcakes on the Blacktop on Friday.

Please keep us and our crazy plan in your prayers. I regret missing another Sunday, but hopefully this will provide a happy conclusion to this saga.

Limited Content
Camp Mack is a wonderful place, but the wi-fi is limited. I usually produce graphics in a program called Canva, but I have found that to be a colossal challenge undertaken at a turtle's pace, so no new graphics this week. Just so you know.

Blessings,
Brian

Cathedral Prayer List

Collect for Trinity Sunday

Almighty and everlasting God, you have given to us your servants grace, by the confession of a true faith, to acknowledge the glory of the eternal Trinity, and in the power of your divine Majesty to worship the Unity: Keep us steadfast in this faith and worship, and bring us at last to see you in your one and eternal glory, O Father; who with the Son and the Holy Spirit live and reign, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
