Cathedral Prayer List
Collect for the Fifth Sunday in Lent
Almighty God, you alone can bring into order the unruly wills and affections of sinners: Grant your people grace to love what you command and desire what you promise; that, among the swift and varied changes of the world, our hearts may surely there be fixed where true joys are to be found; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

For Your Prayers
☩ In Thanksgiving
For the birth this afternoon of Molly Worns, daughter of Hannah & Thomas Worns. Molly was born at 29 weeks due to medical concerns. She debuted at 2:22 pm weighing 2 lbs, 2 ozs. and stretching out to 12.6 inches tall. According to Laura Worns - one happy and relieved grandmother - mother and baby are doing great. Thanks be to God! And welcome to the world, Molly! You picked great parents :)
On 25 March, 2026, the Most Reverend Sarah Mullally (“Sarah Cantuar”) will be enthroned as the 106th Archbishop of Canterbury. We give thanks and ask God to support her ministry in a time that is challenging for both the Church and for the world. May God grant her the enduring grace, steady hand, and strong voice to lead the Anglican Communion in its mission.
For Bishop Doug Sparks, in gratitude for his years of leadership and heart for this Diocese; may his upcoming retirement be a season of rest and blessing. We also pray for the Diocese of Northern Indiana, that as we begin the transition to new leadership, we may follow where God’s Spirit leads.
As March is Women’s History Month, we give thanks for the vital role that women have had and continue to have in the life of the Church and in the world throughout history.

☩ World, National, and Local Community Concerns
For the poor, the hungry, and the unemployed, they find willing helpers and gainful work to support themselves and their families.
For and end to racism in all its forms, that discrimination and violence may end. We pray especially for people of many faiths whose communities are often targeted in hateful attacks, and we pray that those with bigotry in their hearts may come to see, know, and respect the diginity of all human beings.
In our Nation, currently torn by fear, oppression, and strife, may Christ bring peace, healing, and unity. For peace and resolution of conflicts both at home and abroad.
How may we pray for you? To add (or remove) a petition from the Cathedral Prayer List, please send an email to Deacon Clay Berkley. If you are requesting prayer for someone else, please make sure you have their permission to add their name and any details to the prayer list.
